Supported Hardware SDK and extensions versions
Philips always supports the latest hardware SDK version or versions that are not older than one year (You can find more information about Hardware SDK integration here). When software integrating the Hardware SDK runs in a virtual environment and Philips extensions are used to redirect device functionality on the client side, it is supported and strongly recommended to use Philips client extensions matching the version of the Philips Hardware SDK used on the target.
There might be scenarios where the versions on the client and target don't match (e.g. during an upgrade procedure). This is why Philips also supports different versions as long as none of the Philips components are older than one year (when not using the latest version) and unless stated otherwise in this guide (e.g. in the Known issues section). When unexpected issues occur in such mixed version environments, please upgrade all Philips components on the client and target to the latest version.
