The available editing modes are Insert, Overwrite, and Append.

Insert mode: Insert additional recording parts without overwriting the existing recording.

Overwrite mode: Overwrite a previous recording part starting from any point within the recording.

Append mode: Add additional recording parts at the end of an existing recording.
