On iOS devices:

When you receive a call, your recording is automatically paused. After you have finished your call, tap the Record icon  to continue recording.

On Android devices:

When you receive a call, your recording continues. Before answering the call, you should pause the recording by tapping the Record icon  . After you have finished your call, tap the Record icon again to continue recording.
