For recording he uses the wireless headset Philips SpeechOne, which was developed specifically for speech recognition as accurate speech recognition results require an excellent recording quality to begin with. Working truly handsfree is extremely beneficial as he can document and examine, for example with an ultrasound device, at the same time.
