New version of Philips SpeechLive cloud-based speech-to-text solution out now

Dictation and transcription solution Philips SpeechLive v10 now offers an integrated web recorder

Speech Processing Solutions, the world number one in professional dictation, has just launched its latest version of Philips SpeechLive. Philips SpeechLive Cloud Dictation Solution helps busy professionals save time and resources by allowing them to be more flexible and turn their voice into text quicker and more efficiently than ever before. The new version is packed with powerful workflow features and for the first time offers an integrated web recorder for dictating directly into the application.

Dictate and transcribe directly within Philips SpeechLive

Philips SpeechLive is the ideal solution for busy professionals who are looking to save time with an effective and flexible dictation workflow solution. With the new SpeechLive web recorder* customers are now able to create dictations directly within their browser, without having to install any additional dictation workflow software. Users can dictate using their favorite Philips dictation microphones, such as the Philips SpeechMike Premium Touch or the soon to be launched brand-new Philips SpeechOne Wireless Dictation Headset, directly within the browser-based application. The recordings can be professionally edited within the browser (e.g. insert, overwrite, append, adjust volume and add dictation properties).

Dictate on the go for full mobility

When users are mobile, they can take advantage of the smartphone app Philips Voice Recorder, which comes with professional editing features and send dictations directly to Philips SpeechLive on the go.

Using the integrated online audio player, authorized transcriptionist staff can transcribe the dictations from anywhere. Philips SpeechLive can be used as a stand-alone product or together with Philips SpeechExec Pro workflow software installations.

Transcription and speech recognition anywhere

The CEO of Speech Processing Solutions, Dr. Thomas Brauner explains how thanks to Philips SpeechLive, audio files can be turned into text quickly and with ease: “Philips SpeechLive is the perfect solution for turning your voice into text quickly and easily. It’s ideal for busy professionals in the legal, healthcare, and general business sectors. Thanks to the seamlessly integrated Philips SpeechLive web recorder, you can now simply dictate your files and send them off to your typist for transcription. Alternatively, the professionally trained Philips Transcription Service staff can type up your recordings for you. And for those recordings which cannot wait, the integrated speech recognition can transcribe the audio file instantly. Speak-send-done. It’s as easy as it can get.”

Connect your apps to SpeechLive for a fully automated workflow

Philips SpeechLive now also supports Zapier*, which allows users to connect and sync their files with over 1000 frequently used software programs and apps (such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote and SalesForce) for even greater flexibility and a smoother and automated workflow.

“You can now dictate straight into Philips SpeechLive and have your recordings synced automatically to say your Microsoft OneDrive account and use it as your document repository in the cloud” adds Dr. Brauner enthusiastically. He continues: “This extremely convenient and flexible integration allows you to get work done even easier when you are out of the office and on the go.”
