FIX | This version fixes issues with distorted recordings that occurred on some rare MAC computers with the latest operating system macOS Ventura. [SMFW-54]

FIX | It fixes an issue where customers reported distorted playback sound if they listened to a long recording. The distortion intermittently came and went in waves. [SMFW-51]
IMPROVEMENT | The firmware is now ready to support a new SDK interface with which the setting "disable screensaver during recording" can be changed. [SMFW-41]

MAINTENANCE | The Firmware 3.77 is a maintenance package that provides more flexibility for production.

IMPROVEMENT | In some environments the default sampling rate of 22050Hz of the SpeechMike is not accepted and has to be switched to a sampling rate of 44100Hz.
Starting with SpeechControl (PDCC) V4.6, the software includes a sampling rate switch to support these environments.
This firmware version now supports the new SpeechControl software version and allows switching the sampling rate even during Rec or Play. [SMFW-40]

FIX | Fixed an issue, where a device – being in keyboard mode – will leave the microphone muted state when set to default values by the HID-reset function.

FIX | Fixed an issue, where a device – being in keyboard or browser mode – will switch to a wrong audio sampling rate when set to default values by the HID-reset function.

FIX | The microphone motion control now works correctly. Depending on the selected configuration the microphone input level can now either be reduced or the microphone can be muted when the device is placed on the desk. If the microphone motion control is disabled the microphone input level will not change at all.
IMPROVEMENT | In Browser mode the Record LED now lights up correctly during recording

IMPROVEMENT | Improved VmWare compatibility: Exchanged the order of the keyboard and the volume control interface in the USB descriptor to reflect the correct interface identification indexes.
This fixes a device recognition problem that a few customers had when using the SpeechMike in a virtual environment with VmWare.

IMPROVEMENT | Improved Windows 10 compatibility: With the latest Windows 10 release, Microsoft has changed the USB audio interface. Due to that Windows 10 did no longer accept the reported default microphone level of the device during the first connection and the microphone level was set to zero (0). To overcome this issue we have adapted the firmware in order to guarantee that the correct microphone lecel is now reported to the USB host.
IMPROVEMENT | More reliable firmware upgrade process: We have learned that approx. 50% of all firmware upgrades were not initiated, because the device denied to upgrade the firmware for safety reasons. After re-evaluating all safety aspects, we were able to make the firmware upgrade process more reliable in that the device also allows a firmware upgrade in playback mode.

FIX | Fixed issue in ‘Browser’ mode for SpeechMike Premium Touch devices (LFH3700, LFH3710, LFH3720, LFH3800, LFH3810). Button changes made by user are properly saved on the device now.

FIX | Fixed a problem, where enabling the ‘No read’ message in the barcode scanner engine could result in a non-functional scanner (SMP3800, SMP3810)
IMPROVEMENT | Implemented a new HID-Command for switching between SM2 <-> SM3/SMP mode

IMPROVEMENT | Improved robustness of FW-upgrade function when FW upgrade is restarted during a running FW upgrade

FIX | Fixed a problem, where switching the device into MAC modus for old OS versions did not change the USB-ID. Fixed audio problems on MAC devices introduced in 3.50.

IMPROVEMENT | Introduction of additional custom keyboard modes:
- Custom 1 mode: preconfigured for Windows speech recognition
- Custom 2 mode: preconfigured for Dragon on Mac
- Custom 3 mode: preconfigured for Dragon on Windows
IMPROVEMENT | Introduction of a new browser mode, which will cause an USB disconnect/connect event when selected, due to a different USB-id
