Speech Processing Solutions GmbH acquires 4voice AG to strengthen its leadership in professional dictation and speech-to-text solutions

Speech Processing Solutions (SPS), a leader in professional dictation, announced the acquisition of 4voice AG, a leading provider of speech-to-text solutions predominately for hospitals and healthcare organizations in the German-speaking market. 4voice AG has been successfully developing and selling dictation and speech recognition solutions for 20 years.
The current portfolio of SPS already includes superior cloud-based and desktop software for dictation and transcription solution, as well as best in class dictation devices. The combination of these industry-leading products with 4voice’s expertise in speech recognition will enable any organization to fully harness the business benefits of speech-to-text in their document production.
Founded in 2002, 4voice is headquartered in the south of Germany, and serves over 35,000 users. The acquisition of 4voice is a strong fit with the strategy of SPS to expand its speech recognition competence and strengthen its position in the medical market. The long-standing partnership between the two companies is one of the foundations for the acquisition.

With the acquisition of 4voice, SPS is pursuing a buy-and-build strategy that not only preserves 4voice’s accomplishments but, most importantly, will further expand 4voice’s business through leveraging synergies and investments by SPS to accelerate growth of 4voice, especially in the medical market in the European DACH region.
